Privacy

What is collected

Visiting the site can produce normal hosting logs, including your IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time. Purchasing requires the information requested by Whop, such as your email address, billing details, and payment information. The seller receives order information needed to deliver the product and handle support. This static storefront does not store full payment-card numbers.

Analytics and cookies

If you choose “Allow analytics,” we use PostHog and Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits and the steps people take toward checkout. This includes the website and page type, referring domain, filtered campaign labels, sample views, named product sections visible for at least one second, time those sections remain visible while the page is foregrounded, last observed section when the page hides, scroll depth, checkout clicks and their section, checkout loading, bundle selection, and coarse checkout errors. Our PostHog events exclude form text, email addresses, full referring URLs, and payment-card data. With renewed analytics consent, PostHog may record masked product-page interactions to help us understand navigation. All text and element attributes are masked, forms and embedded frames are blocked, and checkout, payment, policy and download pages are not recorded. Console logs, network bodies and headers are not recorded. URL queries and fragments are removed before recording starts. Vercel Web Analytics measures pageviews, filtered campaign labels, referrer addresses, approximate country, and browser/device information without analytics cookies. Neither integration reads checkout form fields. Only PostHog records masked product-page interactions after consent. An anonymous browser identifier and attribution are stored in session storage after consent, so visits in the same tab can be connected. Your analytics choice is saved in local storage. Choose “Analytics preferences” in the footer to decline or change your choice at any time. Declining leaves checkout available and stops analytics. If consented checkout attribution is available, a verified paid order may be linked to that anonymous browser identifier. Returning from checkout alone is not counted as a purchase. The landing page stores the time its exit popup was last shown in your browser so it does not appear repeatedly. Whop’s checkout may use its own cookies or browser storage. Google Fonts receives requests when fonts load. The downloaded reader saves your typed answers in your browser, and its code does not send those answers to the seller.

Why information is used

Order information is used to provide access, identify purchases, answer support requests, process refunds, prevent misuse, and keep required business records. Hosting logs are used to operate and protect the site.

The legal basis

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, purchase and delivery information is processed to perform the purchase contract, records are kept to meet applicable legal obligations, and limited technical logs support the legitimate interest of operating a secure service. Consent applies where required for optional tracking or other optional processing.

Who else processes it

Whop and its payment providers process checkout and payment data. Hosting and network providers process technical requests. Google processes font requests. PostHog EU Cloud and Vercel process optional analytics events and normal connection information. Their practices are described in their own policies, including PostHog’s privacy policy, Vercel’s analytics privacy information, Whop’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. Providers may process information outside your country under their applicable data-transfer arrangements.

How long information is kept

Purchase and accounting records are kept for applicable legal requirements. Support information is kept as needed to resolve and document a request. Technical-log retention depends on the hosting and network services. You can remove the downloaded reader’s saved answers by clearing its browser storage.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data, or object to or restrict certain processing. Some records must be retained for legal reasons. Contact the seller through your purchase receipt or order help for seller-held information, and contact Whop for information it controls. Where applicable, you may also complain to a data-protection authority.

Children

The storefront is not directed at children under 13. A parent or guardian should handle purchases and account access for a minor. Contact the seller through the purchase provider if you believe a child has submitted personal information that should be reviewed.

Changes
